Women’s Health & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Full Time | Mitcham, Melbourne
Help women get back to the things they love

The Opportunity

One of our busiest Physiotherapists is moving on, creating a rare opportunity to step into an established caseload at Uplift.

You'll inherit an established caseload and Clinical Pilates classes each week, working with women across Women's Health, pelvic health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. We're looking for someone who enjoys being busy and is comfortable building towards a caseload of around 25–30 consultations per week.

You’ll have time with Nicole for induction and support, and introductions to our established referral partners to help you settle into the role.

We're looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who loves people, is passionate about Women's Health, and is equally comfortable helping women overcome musculoskeletal injuries and get back to running, strength training and the things they love.

The Women You'll Help

Women's Health is at the heart of what we do - but that means much more than one type of Physiotherapy.

You'll work with women through pregnancy and their postnatal recovery; help women experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence and pelvic girdle pain; treat mastitis; and support women who simply want to move, train and feel strong without pain or symptoms getting in their way.

You'll also treat general musculoskeletal injuries, use Clinical Pilates and strength training as part of your management, and have the opportunity to be involved in growing areas of the clinic including menopause and pessary management.

Ultimately, we're less interested in putting women into clinical boxes and more interested in helping them get back to the things they love.

You Might Be Who We're Looking For If...

  • You’re an experienced Physiotherapist with significant experience in Women’s or Pelvic Health.
  • You love people, build rapport easily and genuinely enjoy being part of a team.
  • You enjoy being busy and are comfortable managing a strong private-practice caseload.
  • You’re confident treating musculoskeletal presentations and using Pilates, exercise and strength training as part of your management.
  • You’re experienced, but still curious - and excited by opportunities to mentor, educate, lead or help us grow new services.

Why Uplift?

Bring your experience, and your own style.
We don’t want experienced clinicians so we can tell them exactly how to practise. Bring your ideas, your clinical style and what you’ve learnt along the way. We’ll support you, challenge you and learn from you too.

Keep growing.
Regular case reviews and inservices, individual support and a $1,500 annual contribution towards external CPD.

Be rewarded for the work you put in.
An attractive base salary plus commission that rewards clinicians who build and maintain a strong caseload.

Build something beyond your own caseload.
If you want more, there are opportunities to mentor other clinicians, educate our community, develop referral relationships or help grow emerging services such as menopause care.

And if leadership is where you want to go...
We want Uplift to keep growing. For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to grow with us and potentially progress towards a Clinic Director role.
